# Full page reload on login and registration

> Give sign-in, registration and password forms a real page load, for security, membership and single sign-on plugins that need one.

By default, AjaxPress submits sign-in forms without a reload, like every other form: a visitor logs in, and the next page slides in. **Full Page Reload on Login & Registration** makes those forms submit the ordinary way instead, with a full page load. Everything else on your site stays instant.

It's under **Settings → AjaxPress → Basic**, it's free, and it's off by default.

## When to turn it on

Leave it off unless signing in misbehaves. Turn it on if you see any of these:

- Logging in appears to work, but the visitor still looks logged out until they reload.
- The login form loops back to itself.
- A two-factor, CAPTCHA or "verify it's you" step doesn't appear, or doesn't accept the code.
- A membership plugin doesn't send members to the page it should after login.
- Single sign-on (Google, Microsoft, or your company login) doesn't return the visitor to your site correctly.

These plugins often expect a fresh page load at the moment someone signs in, to set up the session or send them onward.

## Which forms it covers

- Any form with a password field.
- The WordPress login, registration and lost password forms, including on `wp-login.php`.
- WooCommerce's **My Account** login and registration forms, and creating an account at checkout.

## What changes for visitors

Only the moment they sign in, register or reset a password: that one submission is a normal page load. A [persistent player](https://arraystory.com/docs/ajaxpress/keep-audio-or-video-playing-across-pages/) restarts at that point, like on any full page load. Browsing before and after is instant, as usual.

## For developers

To keep only `wp-login.php` out of AjaxPress, and leave every other sign-in form as it is, use the `ajaxpress_ajax_login` filter instead:

```php
add_filter( 'ajaxpress_ajax_login', '__return_false' );
```
